A CHALLENGING COURSE

Often referred to as a gem in suburban northern New Jersey, the Madison Golf Club is nestled in a beautiful setting in the southwest corner of Madison Borough bordering Chatham Township. Madison Golf Club's course features 4,398 yards of golf for a par of 62 with narrow fairways and small, undulating greens. Course length is not the main test of golf; the layout presents a challenge for shot making and demands accuracy on all strokes. Local knowledge of course subtleties are the key to a successful round.

The impeccably maintained course has nine holes of challenging golf. The course rating is 64.0 for men with a slope rating of 125; for women the course rating is 63.4 and the slope is 115. The greens, tees, and fairways are a bent/poa mixture while the roughs are tall fescue with fine fescue native areas. The 32-acre parcel of land sits on relatively high ground affording members firm playing conditions even in early spring and late fall.

The Club has a full practice green and bunker as well as a netted area to warm up with full swings.
